We should support effective police, fire, and EMS services while addressing the mental health, substance-use, and community challenges that can prevent crises before they happen.

That means transparency, strong ethics, respect for privacy and civil liberties, meaningful local input, and a willingness to fix what isn’t working.

Vermonters should be able to access primary care, mental health care, substance-use treatment, prevention, and community support close to home.

We should improve affordability without weakening our schools, protect and strengthen school choice and town tuitioning, and make sure communities have a real voice in the future of local education.

We can reduce pollution, prepare for climate impacts, protect our working lands and natural resources, and still make sure environmental policy respects affordability and local decision-making.

State policy should recognize the realities of small towns and give rural communities the resources and authority they need to shape their own future.

We need to take property taxes and everyday household costs seriously, be more disciplined about government spending, and stop solving every challenge by simply passing the cost onto families.

We need more homes of different sizes and types, built in places where communities can support growth and where Vermonters can actually afford to live.
